The main objective of the Business Bridge – Ukraine-Ready4EU project is to encourage and support Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to be active in the European Union (EU) Single Market and to successfully cooperate with EU business partners. This will be achieved by providing financial support to third countries in the form of micro-grants together with additional advice and assistance. The Business Bridge – Ukraine-Ready4EU project will select and financially support up to 1,500 Ukrainian SMEs eligible and willing to enter the EU Single Market. The selection will be carried out on a monthly basis through an open call for tenders with clear and transparent selection criteria. The evaluation criteria will be based on the legal status and geographical location of the enterprises, their size and potential, their readiness and commitment to the Single Market, their objectives and planned activities, as well as the prospect of success of the Action Plan. Financial support will be provided to reimburse eligible costs:

– participation in company missions and business networking events;
– certification of products and adaptation to EU standards and norms;
– documentation of export readiness/technical conformity of industrial products;
– provision of technological audits and/or technical assistance for the modernisation of SMEs contributing to a green, digital and resilient economy.

Selected SME applicants will be provided with individual assistance and micro-grant vouchers (worth €2,500) to reimburse eligible costs for duly implemented and reported activities.
