FinEst Scaleup
Elevating the scalability potential of EU Smart Cities’ business for green and sustainable deep tech based solutions

FinEst Scaleup brings together leading research and innovation actors to create a transnational, inclusive, and gender-equal deep tech innovation ecosystem in the Baltic Sea Region – Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, and Poland. The main objective of the project is to help companies, start-ups, and entrepreneurs present innovative technologies, attract investment, and reach global markets.
FinEst Scaleup addresses the lack of funding for the development of start-ups from “less connected and emerging innovation ecosystems”, especially those led by women and operating in the deep tech sector.
This initiative marks the FinEst Centre’s commitment to unify and expand the innovation ecosystem for smart cities, focusing on green and sustainable deep tech.
